Designing a professional coffee machine with ergonomic & user-friendly design
Nova by Wega
Nova is a professional espresso coffee machine designed for WEGA, which breaks down and deconstructs the classic aesthetic architectures of coffee machines. Defragmentation is the keyword for a machine with suspended forms that, in addition to design, does not forget the fundamental ergonomic aspects.

Behind the process that led Delineo design to create Nova are many hours of study, brainstorming and research. The goal was clear from the outset: to design a espresso coffee machine that would stand out among the many already on the market and highlight the technological components within it.
Particular attention was dedicated to the study of spaces and human-machine interaction. The arrangement of every single component is designed to make the barista’s workflow more fluid. These are the details that make Nova a coffee machine that’s easy to use, ergonomic, elegant and full of character.

Wega, a brand rooted in the Italian tradition of espresso coffee machines, was founded in 1985 as a division of the CMA Spa group, which itself was established in 1969 by Commendator Nello Dal Tio. It offers technologically advanced, high-quality coffee machines, grinders, and accessories. Its products are characterized by a brand synonymous with personality, created for baristas who love to express themselves with character, while always maintaining a high level of reliability, a result of know-how developed over the years.
The client needed a new coffee machine with a modern aesthetic that could adapt to diverse venue styles and be easy to use, enhancing the operator’s experience.
