Designing a Family of Glass Baking Dishes

Chef n’ Table

Chef n’ Table: a collection of glass baking dishes with a great visual impact, designed to be served directly at the table and developed for Vidivì – Vetri delle Venezie in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Vito Mollica. It allows for the presentation of innovative dishes at the table, where the elegance of the eye also plays its part. This is a food design project that Delineo design developed with the aim of creating a new family of baking dishes ideal for both cooking and presenting at the table.

Presented with a spectacular showcooking event at an Italian cooking school in Milan, Chef n’ Table was born from the synergy and collaboration with Michelin-starred Executive Chef Vito Mollica. This partnership focused, on one hand, on the product’s presentation, which included the creation of four dedicated recipes by the Chef.

On the other hand, the collaboration also addressed the need to deeply understand the real requirements of those who work in the kitchen daily. This aimed to develop a product capable of providing concrete answers and innovative solutions, differentiating it from what was currently in use. These baking dishes meet the need for a new aesthetic, but also for a more extended use of this object, which has now transformed into a serving dish as well.

“A “star-studded” project. A singular work, designed by shaping glass as if it were plastic, driven by design and the needs of culinary art.”
